Noceto is located south of the Via Emilia and on the highway junction between the Milan-Bologna and Cisa highways.
Noceto is an industrial agricultural center at the foot of the hills, located along the Via Francigena.
Not far away are beautiful hills with farmhouses and cheese factories producing Parmigiano Reggiano. At the center of the town is a 13th-century fortress that houses the Museum of Disco and Museum of Lutherie.
Other notable museums and monuments include the Church of San Martino and the “Ferdinando Libassi” Museum.
