The town is located on the Via Emilia, a major thoroughfare for town traffic, 6 kilometres (4 mi) from the city centre of Bologna towards the southeast. The town has a population of 32000.
The internal organisation of the Municipality envisages 2 responsible pedagogist, 9 administrative/managerial officers, 1 operator for inclusion services and 13 educators/teachers of the municipal Childhood Centre.
They activate framework agreements with social cooperation organizations for the management of all the main services we deal with. The municipal balance is strongly addressed at supporting our area, thanks to a long lasting record of good administration toward pupils and inclusion. In our contect the Municipality is oriented toward quality, innovation, widespread diffusion of services and opportunities.
Our objective is to increase cooperation among the
members of the network, between Italy and Sweden
and, more in general, the North and South of
the European Union.
