CONSORZIO ICARO

The Consortium of Social Cooperatives ‘ICARO’, was founded in 1995, from the need of the founding social cooperatives to formulate concrete responses to the needs of socially vulnerable groups.

In recent years, the Icaro Consortium has widened its field of interest – initially focused on minors at risk of involvement in criminal activities – to all socially weak categories, realizing “personal services” as well as managing residential and semi-residential reception facilities for these users.

Recently, thanks to its group of experts, Icaro has reached Europe, creating and consolidating partnerships with public and private bodies belonging to different Member States, in order to analyze social issues and develop in synergy the best methodologies for their resolution.
