The Union of Italian Provinces of Emilia-Romagna is an association of public bodies that provides representation for the Emilia-Romagna Provinces and promotes their interests at regional, national and European levels.
The UPI is the Association that represents all the Provinces of Emilia-Romagna, bringing together, in associated form, the Province Administrations of: Piacenza, Parma, Reggio Emilia, Modena, Ferrara, Forlì-Cesena, Ravenna and Rimini and is an integral part of the Union of Italian Provinces (UPI).
UPI E-R aims to foster development by encouraging the exchange of best practices and supporting joint initiatives among its members.
To do that, UPI E-R, plays a vital role in providing coordination of policies and activities related to various provincial functions, including environmental protection and environmental enhancement, digital growth, green challenge, Data protection, youthful protagonism, … .
As a result of its role and activities, UPI E-R has substantial experience in coordinating and communicating tasks.
UPI E-R has 6 employees, including the Director and 2 dedicated to European projects and objectives.
Our objective is to increase cooperation among the
members of the network, between Italy and Sweden
and, more in general, the North and South of
the European Union.
